Petronella is a Health Performance & Leadership Consultant with 30 years experience in the Health Service Management as a Senior Nurse Executive.
Awarded the Queen’s Honour of OBE (Order of British Empire) in 2000, Royal College of Nursing’s Leadership Award in 1999 and the Federation of Black Housing organisation’s Consultant of the Year in 2005. Petronella specialises in and has a track record of initiation of successful key health service projects e.g. Service Reviews, Strategy Development, Training and Leadership Development and Networking Programmes in Health private and other public sector organisations.
Petronella is also an International Consultant working with Geneva Health Forum, University of Oxford, University of London SOAS (Governance Programme) and The Tropical Health Education Trust on Health Strengthening, capacity building and addressing the healthcare skills shortage in Somaliland, Tanzania and other parts of Africa. She has also worked with Muhimbili National Hospital, Muhimbili University of Health Allied Sciences, Mbozi Missionary Hospital and made links with Ifakara Health Institute.
Petronella has extensive experience of developing and facilitation of Senior Health Executive and Managers Programmes as well as running Clinical Nurse Leadership Programmes for development of better clinical practice and robust Leadership in clinical areas.
