IWe see organisations as a set of complex relationships – internal and with customers and other external stakeholders - where the skills of listening, inquiry and exploration are fundamental. In our consulting work we experience the organisations that are the most successful are those that have these skills embedded in their culture. These skills are fundamental to being a good coach – and part of our mission as coaches is to help develop these skills within client organisations.
Embedding coaching
As experts in coaching, culture and development, we can support your organisation in embedding a coaching culture. We have learnt through our research that real cultural change comes from a combination of both ‘bottom up’ and ‘top down’ – “leading and learning” (Binney and Williams, 1996). Where coaching is actively modelled at the top, with leaders engaging in their own coaching, teams are supported by coaches and people within the organisation are helped to develop their own skills as coaches.
